Arts and Literature
In New Delhi there are many art shows from the local academy of art. Many of the paintings and drawings that are done are of gods in India. The artwork normally consists of bright vibrant colors. In the literature much of it is written in english because a large amount of people understand english. Common topics are Gods, crime, and the poor people of India.

Customs and Traditions
One custom is to move in with your husbands parentsOne tradition is Diwali when on the date of the new moon between mid-october and November you light Diyas. The point of this is in the Mahaburata there is a story of a prince returning in the dark, and people lighting the way with dias. Another tradition is Holi when colors are thrown at one another on the full moon day between March and February.One more custom is to touch the elders feet.

The economics of New Delhi are very strongly influenced by the IT sector and other electronics.These two parts account for a large amount of the economics. Also New Delhi along with India have a mixed economy. This means the government makes choices, and the people make some choices.

Social ORGANIZATION
When you get married it is considered a social norm to move in with the grooms parents. In New Delhi there is said to be really rich people and really poor people you will hardly ever find a middle class person. In India as a country only 2% percent of population is considered middle class.Normally if you are rich you have servants cooks and drivers even the servants are considered to be better than the poor people.
